It is the most challenging and rewarding career she could ever pursue.

Tracy Chiu

Tracy is currently an education program coordinator working with high school student population, supporting their portfolio development and application for art and design universities. Her qualifications include a BA in Psychology from University of British Columbia, an MA in Graphic Design from Edinburgh College of Art, and a Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite Academy.

Having always been intrigued by technology, art and design, and psychology, Tracy is constantly pondering about the correlations and impacts. Her masters final project was a rigorous creative investigation into the phenomenon of cyberbullying, by engaging visitors to consider its impact through an interactive installation piece. The work “Cyber Bullying- The Underlying Psychological Mechanism” was featured on Arts Thread in 2014.

Seeing a lack of resource in design education in Vancouver, Tracy is completing an E-Learning Certification at Vancouver Community College, in hope to increase student engagement and dialogue through novel and stimulating classroom setting. Tracy has recently founded .JPG, an online creative resource for local art and design community.
